GrEW trainees are made up of volunteers recruited through local job centres and voluntary organisations and paid placements through work programme providers such as Jobs Growth Wales. Trainees are provided with real work experience and relevant training in order to gain the confidence and skills to seek and maintain employment.

GrEW have helped hundreds of young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) to gain the skills and confidence to find work. Our tutors use a variety of training methods to keep delegates interested and our results are second to none. During the first year 47% of trainees and volunteers completed the GrEW programme and moved into employment.

Ex-Offender Training

Grow Enterprise Wales (GrEW) has established a training facility at HMP Cardiff, which is working towards reducing reoffending. Working towards reducing re-offending rates, GrEW offer training and employment opportunities to ex offenders. Sustained employment reduces reoffending by 50%

RCT Homes also plays a big part, working with ex-offenders to find suitable accommodation.
